UFC 251 Confirmed For Perth on June 7

The biggest MMA promotion in the world is coming back to Australia, with UFC 251 Fights being held in Perth on June 7.

It’s the second time the UFC has bought a PPV card Down Under in less than a year after the huge success of UFC 243 in October.
Date: June 07, 2020
Broadcast: Pay-Per-View
Venue: RAC Arena (Perth Arena)
Address: 700 Wellington St, Perth, WA 6000, Australia

Alexander Volkanovski is expected to defend his featherweight title against former champion Max Holloway in the championship rematch in the headliner of UFC 251. The pay-per-view fight card takes place at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The bout is yet to be officially announced by the promotion.

Alexander Volkanovski dethroned Max Holloway mid December 2019 at UFC 245. The pair went a full five-round distance, which ended in a unanimous decision in favor of the Australian MMA fighter.

Alexander Volkanovski (21-1) is unbeaten in 18 of his previous bouts. Ten of his previous bouts (including fight against Holloway) were inside the Octagon, after he made a successful UFC debut in November 2016.

Max Holloway (21-5) reigned as the featherweight king for two and a half years. He took the interim title in December 2016, and then earned an undisputed belt in June 2017. He made three successful championship defenses.

Among the confirmed bouts, UFC 251 will see the women’s MMA championship bout between the current flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko and Joanne Calderwood.
